We are honored to share that the Board of Directors took action June 3, 2024, on an administrative recommendation to appoint Dr. Amy Miller as the incoming principal at Middlesex Elementary School upon Mrs. Eldridge’s transition to the District Office.
Dr. Miller is currently an assistant principal at Cumberland Valley High School. She’s a proud Eagle and a champion of all students.
“Middlesex staff identified the key dispositions they sought from their future leader as someone who is approachable, supportive, organized, empathetic, fair, and an effective communicator,” said Dr. Greg Milbrand, Assistant Superintendent for Elementary Education. “Through our interview process, it was clear that Dr. Miller possesses and demonstrates these skills, as well as the essential instructional leadership knowledge necessary to continue to move Middlesex forward.”
Dr. Miller brings 26 years of educational experience to Middlesex, having served as a social studies teacher, the coordinator of CV’s International Baccalaureate Programme, and most recently, CV High School’s assistant principal.
We are excited to welcome Dr. Miller to Middlesex and are confident in her abilities to continue to lead with the same forward-focused momentum that Mrs. Eldridge brought to our Mountain Lion community. It is anticipated that Dr. Miller will transition to Middlesex in the coming weeks. She will work closely with Mrs. Eldridge to ensure a seamless transition.
