Welcome to Middlesex Elementary! Students may find the need to visit the nurse's office while attending school. They may have an injury, illness or other issue that would bring them into the nurse's office. It is my main job to assess the student's situation and do what I can to allow them to be in the classroom and learn to their greatest potential. Hello to all! I am a Registered Nurse with my Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Bloomsburg University, my Certification in School Nursing from Millersville University, and my Masters of Health Education at Penn State University. My nursing career started with working at Hershey Medical Center on the Pediatric floor and ICU/IMC Units. I then ventured to Pediatric Home Care Nursing. With both of these experiences behind me, I decided to turn to School Nursing to combine my love of teaching and nursing together. I have been with Cumberland Valley for many years and now am very excited to be able to call Middlesex Elementary School "home".

 On a more personal note, I live in the Cumberland Valley School District with my wonderful husband and 4 children. I am a proud Cumberland Valley graduate, and my youngest child attends CV with two in college, and one living in Stockholm, Sweden teaching Middle School. My hobbies include reading, exercising, and any activity with my children or supporting my children in their many ventures.

I am very excited to be part of the Middlesex Elementary family. It is my goal to be here for your children in order to help them to be the healthiest and safest individual so that they may perform to their greatest potential. Working together will allow them to succeed each and every day of this school year.
