Potential Eagle Scout or Girl Scout Gold Award Projects
The learning potential of our environmental trail has been bolstered many times by the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America. They helped to create the infrastructure on the trail, and contributed greatly to the maintenance of the trail before Mr. Pierce and Mr. Valentine assumed those responsibilities.
It is a goal of the Middlesex Environmental Trail to become an integral part of the Middlesex community, that is supported by the Middlesex community and beyond! With that in mind, we have created this page to support potential Eagle Scouts in finding a project that will benefit hundreds of students per year. The projects that are listed refer back to the rough map that is shown below. All plans should be made following a site visit to see what the exact needs are.
